Look what Santa Claus brought this year! Just in time for this year’s Christmas season, Amazon has released our film A LAST HURRAH (original title: AUF UND ABLEBEN). To watch the black comedy about the Brandt family, that wants to celebrate Christmas together once more despite their bereavement, just check out Amazon UK / US or in Germany.

We are humbled to receive another award for our film A LAST HURRAH! At this year’s Universal Film Festival we got the award for BEST FILM IN GERMANY!

On November 13th my film A LAST HURRAH was awarded with the Silver Award for Best Medium-Length Film at the Independent Star Filmfest Munich! This year, due to the pandemic, the festival was unfortunately only available as an online version. But the selection and award is of course a great honor! This just shows once more that it is always worthwhile to independently continue to go for your own films and ideas. The story about the Brandt family, the death of the mother and their Christmas together reaches more and more viewers and in this case also the jury. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

This year I am finally in Biberach. My film A LAST HURRAH is running in competition at the 43rd Biberach Film Festival. On Wednesday, 3rd November, at 16:00 and Thursday, 4th November, 13:15 I will present the film together with the main actor and co-producer, André Lewski.

Then in the evening, 11/4, 9:00pm I will also be a guest at the Sister’s Wild Cinema – International Women’s Film Festival’s “Sister’s Wild Talk” and talk about my work and experience in the Into The Wild Mentoring Program. I hope you’ll come in droves! Let’s watch movies and network!

A LAST HURRAH will run from September 30th to October 4th, 2021 in the official selection of the Houston QFest. So once again, one of my films has made it across the Atlantic before me. This year, due to pandemic, the LGBTQ film festival will also take place online. So my film, among many other exciting works, can be streamed online worldwide via the cinenso platform!

My film A LAST HURRAH is currently the HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK at the Universal Film Festival 2021. Here you can watch the 17angucken and soon there will be more highlights about this self-produced film.

In September my film A LAST HURRAH was shown at the Achtung Berlin – new berlin film award in competition! Unfortunately I could not be there. But my great team enjoyed the Berlin premiere with you! More info about the film can be found here.
