I’m currently preparing for the anniversary block of the successful children’s series SCHLOSS EINSTEIN. To celebrate the 1000th episode, it’s going to be really mysterious. I SLEEP IN THE RIVER’S BED (2016), the documentary by Mathis Hanspach and me, will be shown at the end of August at the drive-in cinema OINK! in Düsseldorf. If you haven’t seen this atmospheric film about life in the Vietnamese highlands yet, you can make yourself comfortable on one of the seats in front of the cinema bus in Duisburg on the following days:

After a few weeks of abstinence, we’re finally back. The Achtung Berlin Film Festival will be held again and my latest film will be part of it. A LAST HURRAH is running in the competition for middle-length films and will be screened in Berlin between September 16 – 20, 2020. More info about the festival can be found here (link).
