Für den Dokumentarfilm, INTIMACY (AT), verschlug es meinen Kameramann und Co-Regisseur, Mathis Hanspach, und mich für einen Monat nach Vietnam. Von Ende Oktober bis Ende November erlebten wir dort, tief in den Bergen, die verzaubernde Atmosphäre einer versteckten, kleinen Welt und trafen auf Menschen, die uns in ihr Zuhause einluden und zum Teil ihrer Gemeinschaft machten. Voller neuer Eindrücke und Erfahrungen kommen wir zurück aus diesem anderen Leben und freuen uns auf die Postproduktion, in der wir mit Hilfe wundervoller Bilder und Töne diese intime Welt auch im Kino spürbar machen wollen.
For a whole month, I have travelled together with my cameraman and co-director, Mathis Hanspach, to Vietnam to shoot the documentary, INTIMACY (AT). From October until November, we were absorbed by the bewitching atmosphere of a small and hidden village, that, deep down in the mountains, almost felt like a small little world. We met astonishing and wonderful people, who invited us into their homes and made us become part of their community. Equipped with the most incredible experiences, pictures and sounds in our hearts and also on our hard drives, we are now coming back from this other life. We are looking forward to the postproduction of this movie, that will make you see and relive the atmosphere of the intimate world within our world.
