TV Premiere – SE Episode 1015

The second episode of SCHLOSS EINSTEIN under my direction will celebrate its TV premiere on March 3, 2022 at 2:35 pm. KIKA will then show episode 1015 from the 25th season:
Sports and theater – the perfect combination for a creative challenge. That’s what Chiara thinks. So she sends the groups into the forest. Not a favorite place of Marlon, but he outgrows himself despite or because of prankster Nesrin. And even Fabienne surprises Rosa during the day in the forest. At school, Sibel pursues a new strategy. She simply negotiates for better grades. Will the plan work?

Of course, you can also watch the episode online in the KIKA media center.

TV Premiere – SE Episode 1014

On March 2, 2022 at 2:35 p.m., KIKA will broadcast the first of my five new episodes from the 25th season of SCHLOSS EINSTEIN. Episode 1014 is about:
If you always say “yes”, you also have to say “no” sometimes. Io likes to say “no” very much, especially to say “no” to No. However, Sirius didn’t mean it that way and makes Io think. Gustav doesn’t want to believe what everyone else already suspects and gets on everyone’s nerves with it. Pawel has to endure a tough fight: Badu has got hold of his favorite shirt and the tasks for the recapture put him to quite a test.

Of course, you can also watch the episode online in the KIKA media center.

SILVER AWARD for A LAST HURRAH

On November 13th my film A LAST HURRAH was awarded with the Silver Award for Best Medium-Length Film at the Independent Star Filmfest Munich! This year, due to the pandemic, the festival was unfortunately only available as an online version. But the selection and award is of course a great honor! This just shows once more that it is always worthwhile to independently continue to go for your own films and ideas. The story about the Brandt family, the death of the mother and their Christmas together reaches more and more viewers and in this case also the jury. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Anticipating ZITTERINCHEN

The press release of my upcoming fairy tales on ARD has been released. You have to be patient for my film ZITTERINCHEN for one more Christmas, though. Nonetheless, you can find first infos about the film here. Because anticipation is the best joy.

It’s the 18th century. Alma, 20, and her sister Christine, 18, live in their little house on the edge of a village and provide for themselves. While the beautiful Christine jumps confidently and wildly through life, never wears shoes and is not afraid of anything, her sister Alma is more deliberate, downright shy and not nearly as self-confident. She is of somewhat sturdier build and indulges in her great hobby: painting. She has an extraordinary talent as a painter and her sister predicts a great future for her. After some hesitation, Alma takes part in a painting competition at the castle and is hired at the court of Prince Philip, 25, as a painter for his botanical almanac. Philip lives only for his plants, for science, and is modest and a little spunky. Noblewomen, who want to marry him, can’t get their hands on him. Instead, he gets along blindly with Alma, without realizing that she would be just right for him. Instead, he falls for Christine after seeing a picture of her with Alma. A love story unfolds, in which the evil baroness and her daughter play a decisive role, Christine almost dies, and a nymph and the little dog called Zitterinchen get involved. In the end all is well and if they have not died, then they are still alive today.

Fabulous Mixing

After a great musical phase with composer David Scheler and sound design by Charlotte Lewis, we went into mixing our ARD fairy tale ZITTERINCHEN last week. It was really great to work in an exclusively female team (!!) in the Mixing studio for once. Thanks to mixing engineer Sabine Maier and Charlotte Lewis from CineImpuls. Looking forward to the TV premiere!
